When our son Anthony III was born {who we now call Tripp} our world changed into such an amazing new experience. We are so lucky to say that he is such an easy going, happy and fun baby. Even though we do not typically do newborn photos we decided to jump in and do our sons newborn photos and we love the way they turned out. For his newborn photo we used an adorable little knit Thor helmet, Thor's hammer {which I now know is called Mjolnir} and a beautiful homemade blanket {Thanks Mrs. Kertenis!}.
When he was approaching his 1 month Birthday, Anthony and I racked our brains trying to come up with a fun and unique way to do his monthly pictures. We decided to continue the theme from his newborn photos and went with some of our favorite superheros and characters. So here are his monthly pictures from the last 12 months!
We had a lot of fun coming coming up with the ideas for all of his outfits, but they were {admittedly} a lot of work! We are so glad we did them and have these fun photos to document our son's first year, but we are happy they are finished! My faves are definitely the 10 month Harry Potter photo {yes that is the Elder Wand}, the 2 month Ninja Turtle in the pizza box, and the 3 month Batman and Robin {I just love the smiles and he finally got his chub legs!} Anthony's favorites were the 4 month Venom photo, the 7 month Yoda photo {because, come on…he's adorable}, and the 8 month Ash photo {Anyone who knows Anthony knows he is slightly obsessed with bad horror movies, and the Evil Dead movies are the best of the worst to him}.
Most of the outfits and props used in the photos we already had, or we found at the local craft store, but others were handmade and ordered from Etsy or Ebay. If you are interested in getting any of the items we purchased for his monthly photos you can find them here:
