Our Fall Minis this year will be at Winnekenni Castle in Haverhill! Session times will be available on a first come first serve basis beginning at 8:00am and running every 20 minutes through 12:00pm. Due to a busy schedule, this will be the only day we will be fall minis, and many of the sessions are already sold due to pre-booking.
Happy New Year!
And what a year this has been! I always love putting together this wrap up blog because I am able to relive some of our favorite memories from the past year. This year has been quite special as we were welcomed into so many important moments in our clients and friends lives. From the tear filled vows and wild dance party receptions at weddings, watching our couples excitement as they expect their first baby, or capturing a couple dance in front of their family at their 50th wedding anniversary celebration… we were there to document and enjoy these amazing moments in your lives.
Picking the right spot can be difficult and is very personal for each student. We always try to offer lots of different options so we can help find the right spot for each of them! When deciding where to go, I always refer back to what your Senior’s interests might be. Maybe they love going to the beach, or going for hikes, maybe they spent countless hours in the library devouring books or even longer on the ice rink. It is so important to tailor each session to your Senior to make sure that their photos reflect their High School career and the things that they loved along the way.
What an amazing year this has been! Writing the end of year blog is always my favorite thing to do as it gives me another opportunity to revisit some of my favorite images we have taken this year…with some of our favorite people! As we look back on the year we have had we are so thankful for all of our amazing clients! We have had the pleasure of sharing some of your most important moments with you guys and it means the world to us that you had us capture them for you. This year we have shared so many laughs and emotional tears that is almost bittersweet that this year is coming to an end!
We will be hosting our Christmas Tree Farm mini sessions at White Gate Christmas Tree Farm in West Newbury on November 10th. The owners have so graciously welcomed us to their property for these sessions and we couldn’t be more excited!!!
Session times will be available on a first come first serve basis beginning at 8:00am and running every 20 minutes through 12:00. If you are unable to attend, or were hoping for a longer session, we will be offering 30 minute, and 1 hour tree farm sessions here on weekdays. Inquire on availability and packages!
For the past few years we have had the pleasure of not only getting to know my friend Amanda, {who sadly no longer lives in my backyard Click here for the full story and to see their engagement photos and pregnancy reveal blog}, but also capturing her life through its many changes. From capturing photos of just her and her son Jameson when she was a single Mom, to her pregnancy reveal and engagement photos; Her story culminated at her beautiful June wedding to her now Husband Connor.
Aundie and John's day started out with not one...but two first looks! And neither of them were between the Bride and Groom! John was able to sneak over to see his daughter Lily for the first time and surprise her with a special gift before the wedding, and then Aundie shared a moment with her Dad before the wedding also! It was such an amazing opportunity to witness these special moments with this family. One day John will be seeing Lily for the first time before her wedding, just like Aundie and her Dad, so this moment gave me ALL THE FEELS!
We have been all over the place recently capturing sessions and we were so happy to travel to Providence College to meet Alicia and Tim for their engagement session. They knew when deciding where to do their photos that no other place would be as special as where they met...Providence College! When Alicia and Tim met at an ABC Party {anything but clothes} I doubt they thought they would be returning back here for their Engagement Session! We met up with them to walk the grounds of their alma mater and capture their photos at some of the places that were most special to them! So much has changed since they graduated, but it still felt like home.
2020 was quite the year, but not in the way that any of us had imagined when it began. Rather than the exciting year we all had planned, we sheltered in place, wore masks, sanitized, quarantined, and found new ways to manage our daily lives in the midst of a global pandemic. The event industry was hit so incredibly hard, with most of us losing nearly our full calendar of weddings and events. It was a punch to the gut every time we read about another small business that had to close down because they were not able to weather this seemingly never-ending storm.
