Christmas Tree Farm Mini Sessions {Massachusetts and New Hampshire Family Photographer} White Gate Christmas Tree Farm, West Newbury MA

We will be hosting our Christmas Tree Farm mini sessions at White Gate Christmas Tree Farm in West Newbury on November 10th. The owners have so graciously welcomed us to their property for these sessions and we couldn’t be more excited!!!

Session times will be available on a first come first serve basis beginning at 8:00am and running every 20 minutes through 12:00. If you are unable to attend, or were hoping for a longer session, we will be offering 30 minute, and 1 hour tree farm sessions here on weekdays. Inquire on availability and packages!

Amanda & Connor did their engagement session with us a few months ago, but since today feels like January I figured it was the perfect opportunity to share their photos. I struggled with how to title this blog because this session was SO MUCH MORE than just an engagement session! It was a engagement session, a family session, and a pregnancy reveal all wrapped up into one adorable package! I have known Amanda since we bought our home 5 years ago because she lives in our backyard. Not in the homeless vagrant kind of way, but she lives in the house behind mine...so I also live in her backyard. 

Favorite Engagement Session Locations {Massachusetts Wedding Photographers}

Picking the right spot can be difficult and is very personal to each couple. We always try to offer lots of different options so we can help find the right spot for each of them! When deciding where to go, I always recommend the couple think about things they like to do together, where they met, or shared hobbies they have. Also, some locations are great in the summer but might not be the best in the winter.

Often times we don't get to meet our couples until their engagement session, so the shoot is a great way for us to get to know each other before their big day! We had a perfect morning with Allie and Donny last weekend at Greycourt Park in Methuen {as many of you know is one of our favorite spots}. They were a lot of fun to spend time with, and they had great chemistry together.

Greycourt Park is by far one of our favorite spots to do photo sessions so it was the perfect place to recommend for Victoria & Jason's Maternity Session! Most people who make the drive up the big hill behind Methuen Town Hall are always shocked to find such a hidden gem in our town! It was also the most appropriate place for us to discuss this weeks Game of Thrones {Considering the remains of Tenney Castle do look like a battle had happened here many years ago!}

Most of the engagement sessions we capture are during autumn. and considering how gorgeous it is in New England I can't say I blame them. However, we love when our couples want to do something different and were thrilled when Caitlin and Jeff wanted to plan their engagement session in the winter! We went to Greycourt Park in Methuen for their session and it was the perfect snowy spot for their photos.

We returned to our favorite local park, Greycourt State Park, to do James' Senior Photos {You might remember we were here a few weeks ago doing his cousin Cameron's Senior Photos} this week and had another great session there. The best part about having your session here is that there are so many places to take photos, which ensures that no two shoots are exactly the same.

We are often asked for suggestions on where to do our clients photo sessions, and at the top of our list is always Searles Castle {aka Greycourt Park} in Methuen. Tucked away on a hill behind Methuen Town Hall is a hidden gem, that we did not discover until we started doing photography. When asked where to do Cameron's senior photos, I knew this would be the perfect spot.
