Best of 2020 {Massachusetts & New Hampshire Wedding, Portrait & Event Photographer}

2020 was quite the year, but not in the way that any of us had imagined when it began. Rather than the exciting year we all had planned, we sheltered in place, wore masks, sanitized, quarantined, and found new ways to manage our daily lives in the midst of a global pandemic. The event industry was hit so incredibly hard, with most of us losing nearly our full calendar of weddings and events. It was a punch to the gut every time we read about another small business that had to close down because they were not able to weather this seemingly never-ending storm.

Best of 2018 {Massachusetts & New Hampshire Wedding, Event & Portrait Photographers}

What an amazing year this has been! Writing the end of year blog is always my favorite thing to do as it gives me another opportunity to revisit some of my favorite images we have taken this year…with some of our favorite people! As we look back on the year we have had we are so thankful for all of our amazing clients! We have had the pleasure of sharing some of your most important moments with you guys and it means the world to us that you had us capture them for you. This year we have shared so many laughs and emotional tears that is almost bittersweet that this year is coming to an end!

Labor Day Wedding Package Sale {New England Wedding Photographers} Our Biggest Sale Ever!!!

This is officially our biggest sale on Wedding Packages... EVER!!!

Providence College Engagement Session {New England Wedding Photographers} Alicia & Tim

We have been all over the place recently capturing sessions and we were so happy to travel to Providence College to meet Alicia and Tim for their engagement session. They knew when deciding where to do their photos that no other place would be as special as where they met...Providence College! When Alicia and Tim met at an ABC Party {anything but clothes} I doubt they thought they would be returning back here for their Engagement Session! We met up with them to walk the grounds of their alma mater and capture their photos at some of the places that were most special to them! So much has changed since they graduated, but it still felt like home.

Zorvino Vineyards Wedding {Sandown, New Hampshire Wedding Photographers} Lindsey & Justin

Zorvino Vineyards has always been one of our favorite places to visit, so you can only imagine our excitement when we got to capture Lindsey and Justin's wedding there last month! We captured their engagement session last summer and knew then their wedding was going to be so much fun. Their wedding day has been a long time coming for them as they met when they were just 17 years old through mutual friends.

Hampton Beach Engagement Session {New Hampshire Engagement Photographers} Aundie & John with Lily & Jack

Aundie and John have been all over our newsfeed lately after capturing their engagement session a couple months back and their recent wedding at Smolak Farms! I could get the feeling that people just couldn't get enough of them and their adorable kids so I wanted to make sure I blogged their engagement session {I pinky swear promise I will blog their wedding too...don't worry!}.

Hampton Beach NH Proposal {New Hampshire Engagement and Wedding Photographers} Colin & Rachel

Colin emailed a few months back asking if we could be there to capture his proposal to his girlfriend Rachel. After I stopped doing my happy dance of excitement we got to planning the perfect proposal. They met a few years ago at a concert in Boston, but they shared their first date, first kiss, and he asked her to be his girlfriend at Hampton Beach. This was a special place for them so he knew it was the perfect place to propose. He booked a weekend getaway there and we got to planning!

Greycourt Park, Methuen Engagement Session {Massachusetts Engagement Photographer} Amanda & Connor

Amanda & Connor did their engagement session with us a few months ago, but since today feels like January I figured it was the perfect opportunity to share their photos. I struggled with how to title this blog because this session was SO MUCH MORE than just an engagement session! It was a engagement session, a family session, and a pregnancy reveal all wrapped up into one adorable package! I have known Amanda since we bought our home 5 years ago because she lives in our backyard. Not in the homeless vagrant kind of way, but she lives in the house behind mine...so I also live in her backyard.

Favorite Engagement Session Locations {Massachusetts Wedding Photographers}

Picking the right spot can be difficult and is very personal to each couple. We always try to offer lots of different options so we can help find the right spot for each of them! When deciding where to go, I always recommend the couple think about things they like to do together, where they met, or shared hobbies they have. Also, some locations are great in the summer but might not be the best in the winter.

Greycourt Park, Methuen Engagement Session {Massachusetts Wedding Photographer} Allie & Donny

Often times we don't get to meet our couples until their engagement session, so the shoot is a great way for us to get to know each other before their big day! We had a perfect morning with Allie and Donny last weekend at Greycourt Park in Methuen {as many of you know is one of our favorite spots}. They were a lot of fun to spend time with, and they had great chemistry together.

North Andover Engagement Session {Massachusetts Engagement Photographers} Megan & Jeff

It’s always a pleasure when we get to work with old friends. Anthony and I both graduated from high school with Jeff and Megan (granted the guys are 4 years older than us ladies). Anthony has known Jeff since the 5th grade and they were on the track team together at Methuen High School and Megan and I went to Central Catholic together. Even though Central Catholic and Methuen High are bitter rivals, the four of us have proved that it’s possible to put our differences aside and fall in love {Even though CCHS is obviously superior}.

The Hellenic Center, Ipswich MA {Massachusetts Wedding Photographers} Erica & Robert

After capturing Erica & Robert's gorgeous Stevens-Coolidge Place Engagement Session last summer {Check it out here} we knew that their wedding was going to be amazing...but their picture perfect wedding exceeded all expectations! We started our day at the recently opened and absolutely gorgeous Beuport Hotel Gloucester where everyone was getting ready for the big day! While the girls drank mimosas and got dolled up, the guys shared laughs and a few pre wedding drinks.

Smolak Farms Engagement Session {Massachusetts Engagement Photographers} Lindsey & Justin

I had the pleasure of joining Lindsey and Justin for a photo shoot at one of my favorite locations, Smolak Farms in North Andover, MA. We were very fortunate that evening, narrowly dodging a rain storm that ended just minutes before the shoot. Smolak farms was as beautiful as ever and Lindsey and Justin were naturals in front of the camera…but the real MVP was their cute little pup, Ford, who joined them in a few shots.

Rolling Ridge Retreat Engagement Session {Massachusetts Engagement Session} Audrey & Tony

During Audrey and Tony's Engagement Session, one thing we learned was these two can't help but make each laugh, and we loved it! We met up with Audrey and Tony for an evening Engagement Session at Rolling Ridge Retreat and Conference Center in North Andover. Lucky for us, the flowers were all starting to bloom and the clouds parted just enough to give us a hint of a sunset while we made our way around their beautiful property.

Island Grove Park Engagement Session {Massachusetts Engagement Photographers} Shaunna & Bobby

As everyone starts thinking about the upcoming warmer weather and opening their pool, we can't help but still love this Engagement Session with Shaunna & Bobby where the pool was most definitely CLOSED! A fresh batch of snow was the perfect backdrop for this chilly engagement session this winter at Island Grove Park in Abington.

Hampton Beach Engagement Session {New Hampshire Engagement Photographers} Ashley & Jared

We always tell people when they are planning their engagement sessions with us to add personal touches to the session so it can be more special for them. Ashley and Jared did just that by picking the perfect spot for their engagement session! Jared's grandparents have a house at Hampton Beach where he spent most of his summers growing up and now gets to make even more memories there with his future wife {We made sure to include a cameo of the house as well}.

Tewksbury Country Club Wedding, Tewksbury MA {Massachusetts Wedding Photographers} Colleen & Justin

Last July we had the pleasure of capturing Colleen & Justin's Wedding at The Tewksbury Country Club! It was such a hot day that they had the ceremony inside in front of their big beautiful fireplace. Lucky for them, TCC is such an awesome venue the inside is just as beautiful as the outside!

Salisbury Beach, MA Engagement Session {Massachusetts Engagement Photographers} Crysten & Shawn

Not long ago we had the pleasure of spending a morning at the beach with Crysten, Shawn and their adorable son Mason. It was a beautiful June day and we knew it wouldn’t be long until the beaches at the Salisbury Beach State Reservation filled up, so we got there super early and had almost the whole beach to ourselves.

Atkinson Common, Newburyport {Massachusetts Engagement Photographers} Debbie & Billy

We met up with Debbie and Billy on the most perfect spring day at Atkinson Commons in Newburyport this past weekend for their engagement session. We lucked out too, because their wedding is less than a month away!

Newburyport Engagement Session {Massachusetts Engagement Photographer} Kate & Nick

Downtown Newburyport is such a beautiful location for engagement photos and we were thrilled when Kate and Nick decided this was the perfect place for them. Lucky for us, they were game for getting there nice and early so we could avoid the crowds {Aside from a few pups out for their morning walks}.
