2020 was quite the year, but not in the way that any of us had imagined when it began. Rather than the exciting year we all had planned, we sheltered in place, wore masks, sanitized, quarantined, and found new ways to manage our daily lives in the midst of a global pandemic. The event industry was hit so incredibly hard, with most of us losing nearly our full calendar of weddings and events. It was a punch to the gut every time we read about another small business that had to close down because they were not able to weather this seemingly never-ending storm.
Best of 2018 {Massachusetts & New Hampshire Wedding, Event & Portrait Photographers}
What an amazing year this has been! Writing the end of year blog is always my favorite thing to do as it gives me another opportunity to revisit some of my favorite images we have taken this year…with some of our favorite people! As we look back on the year we have had we are so thankful for all of our amazing clients! We have had the pleasure of sharing some of your most important moments with you guys and it means the world to us that you had us capture them for you. This year we have shared so many laughs and emotional tears that is almost bittersweet that this year is coming to an end!
Smolak Farms Wedding {North Andover, Massachusetts Wedding Photographers} Aundie & John
Aundie and John's day started out with not one...but two first looks! And neither of them were between the Bride and Groom! John was able to sneak over to see his daughter Lily for the first time and surprise her with a special gift before the wedding, and then Aundie shared a moment with her Dad before the wedding also! It was such an amazing opportunity to witness these special moments with this family. One day John will be seeing Lily for the first time before her wedding, just like Aundie and her Dad, so this moment gave me ALL THE FEELS!
North Andover Engagement Session {Massachusetts Engagement Photographers} Megan & Jeff
It’s always a pleasure when we get to work with old friends. Anthony and I both graduated from high school with Jeff and Megan (granted the guys are 4 years older than us ladies). Anthony has known Jeff since the 5th grade and they were on the track team together at Methuen High School and Megan and I went to Central Catholic together. Even though Central Catholic and Methuen High are bitter rivals, the four of us have proved that it’s possible to put our differences aside and fall in love {Even though CCHS is obviously superior}.
